China’s textile and garment exports reached $116.67 billion in January–May 2025, up 0.97 per cent year-on-year, with textile exports rising 2.5 per cent and garment exports falling 0.5 per cent.
May exports alone totalled $26.21 billion.
Imports of textile yarn and fabric dropped 14.9 per cent.
In 2024, total exports rose to $301.1 billion, while imports declined to $10.83 billion.
