Cases of dengue and chikungunya had risen in Nagpur, reporting 54 new chikungunya cases within eight days in August. With stagnant water playing a significant role in mosquito breeding, preventive measures included eliminating water collection points around homes and securing indoor environments by repairing leaks, installing screens, and using repellents effectively.
