Lately, I have been daydreaming of all things denim. I’ve always had a thing for Western aesthetics and motifs, so I’m familiar with the classic Canadian tuxedo. But I recently wanted to think of different styling ideas outside the traditional denim-on-denim looks. For inspiration, I took to Instagram to look at how some of my favorite editors and influencers interpreted double-denim looks. I found five outfits I absolutely loved. From casual denim to elevated denim looks, I found outfits perfect for everything from a night out to Sunday brunch.

This is something I would wear to a concert as it has such a cool vibe to it. I have such a thing for this denim bra top from Good American that I actually ordered one and am waiting for the perfect occasion to wear it. I really love how Bella styled this with loafers. I would have probably chosen boots, but they look so good.

This is the ultimate casual yet stylish way to style denim on denim. If you’d have said I’d love a denim vest paired with jeans and Uggs as much as I do, I’d have thought you were a liar. However, it looks surprisingly great on Amaka above, and I’ve wanted this pair of Uggs for a while now.

This is how you wear denim at night. While I’ve always tried to avoid jeans in an evening look, the embellishments on this pair definitely elevate the outfit (the heels help, too). Bonus points if you can find a matching top and jacket to pair with your sparkly jeans.

The quiet luxury way to do denim. I gasped when I first saw this look on fellow Who What Wear editor Indya Brown. Pairing a long denim coat with stunning denim boots makes for denim perfection.

A classic Americana way to wear denim on denim. I paired these Reformation jeans (which I’ve been living in these days) with a denim shirt from AG and a classic white tank. But the key to this outfit? It’s for sure the belt.
