Bangladesh is considering raising investment from India and China in the industrial sector, Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir, Prime Minister’s Adviser on finance and planning has said.
It is also reviewing the future of various projects undertaken in Bangladesh in the past with support from India and China, he said.
He said the country is facing an energy crisis now and some past energy pacts were unequal.
