Dutch unemployment steady at 4% in October, benefit claims rise

The Netherlands recorded 411 thousand unemployed in October 2025, with the jobless rate steady at 4 per cent.
Unemployment rose by 8 thousand per month recently, while paid employment grew by 5 thousand.
UWV reported 195.4 thousand benefit recipients, up 9.1 per cent year-on-year, though unemployment stayed stable as job gains offset job losses.
