MOPCO has selected thyssenkrupp Uhde to upgrade its ammonia and urea plants in Egypt with carbon capture and green hydrogen solutions.
The revamp will cut CO2 emissions by 145,000 t/year and boost ammonia production by 150 mtpd per plant using advanced uhde cartridges.
