Once you decide you love something, it’s psychologically proven that you’ll see it everywhere. It’s called the frequency illusion (kind of) and yes, it’s real. Knowing that, since I, like so many of my fellow editors, am fully smitten with point-toe, knee-high boots, I shouldn’t be surprised that the exact style had become practically unavoidable in my everyday life, whether I’m working on a story or walking around the city. But even with all that exposure, I’m convinced the most recent time I spotted a pair was my chicest sighting yet.

For an especially autumnal day in NYC, Emily Ratajkowski debuted the perfect fall outfit, including a brown moto jacket worn over a black bodysuit and combined with a khaki-colored, $40 Zara micro skort and knife-sharp knee-highs. To accent the outfit, she added a vintage Dior saddle bag, Fendace sunglasses, and a wide belt.

Clearly the universe is trying to tell me something, and it has everything to do with the 14 pairs of dangerously tempting point-toe, knee-high boots below. Scroll down to see EmRata’s look and shop them all.

So sleek.

The sharper the toe, the better if you ask me.

These are giving strong ’90s vibes.

If you’ve already stocked up on black boots, try this chocolate-brown pair instead.

I’m more than kind of obsessed.

If you’re going to splurge on boots, a pair by Stuart Weitzman is always a safe bet.

A fun switch up from plain black.

This color has also been following me around recently.

This kitten heel will make walking for hours a breeze.

If I didn’t know better, I’d think these were $1,200 boots at least.

Someone cue “Smooth Operator.”

Wake me up when these are arriving on my doorstep, sent from a kind stranger.

Just buy them already.

Oh, these are good.
