Eni and Snam have launched Italy’s first CO₂ capture, transport, and storage project, Ravenna CCS, reducing emissions by over 90 per cent.
Powered by renewable energy, the project will store 25,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually, with plans to scale up to 4 million tonnes by 2030.
It supports decarbonisation, climate goals, and industrial competitiveness.
