The EU reduced greenhouse gas emissions by 4 per cent to 894 million tonnes of CO2-eq in Q1 2024, despite stable GDP growth of 0.3 per cent.
Major reductions came from electricity and gas supply (down 12.6 per cent) and households (down 4.4 per cent).
