The euro area’s manufacturing sector deteriorated at a faster pace in November, with the PMI survey revealing stronger declines in new factory orders, production, purchasing activity and inventories, S&P Global Ratings said.
The level of employment in the sector also saw its steepest decline since August 2020.
A small improvement in business confidence remained subdued by historical standards.
