Sofia Richie Grainge has reached peak It-girl status. Her combined 13 million Instagram and TikTok followers watch her closely for fashion and beauty inspiration. I’m one of them. While I can’t deny that her signature style is worthy of a case study, I’m a beauty editor, so I’m more invested in her effortless yet elevated beauty routine. Lucky for me, Richie treats her TikTok like a personal beauty diary. She constantly shares GRWM videos for everything from date nights to black-tie events and even just laid-back summer days at the pool or beach. Because I trust her and her stellar product recommendations completely, I took it upon myself to go through her TikTok videos with a fine-tooth comb. I wanted to find every makeup product she’s ever recommended and gather them all together in one place for easy reference. Consider it a beginner’s guide to achieving It-girl makeup. Richie posted her first GRWM video on the eve of her wedding festivities in the South of France (the wedding that broke the internet). In this video, she introduced her followers to some of her go-to makeup products, which she also used in later videos. This is a classic makeup look for Richie, who tends to prefer something fresh and effortless.
This product is featured pretty heavily on Richie’s TikTok. It’s a foundation stick, although she uses it more as a concealer. She applies it in targeted areas around her face to cover any imperfections (like the sunburn she got in the South of France).
Another go-to product for Richie is this bronzer, which she uses to define and sculpt her cheekbones.
She’s a vocal supporter of NudeStix products, so it’s no surprise that Richie uses this blush to make her cheeks “extra rosy.”
She calls this her “favorite highlighter ever.” She dabs it sparingly on her cheekbones and browbone.
Instead of filling in her brows, she uses this transparent gel to brush them and hold them in place.
Richie calls this palette her “favorite of all time.” She uses it as an eye shadow, putting the colors in her crease and along the lower lash line.
Instead of mascara, she uses this lash conditioner since she has a lash lift and tint. “It’s just a little bit of a conditioner,” she says. “It’s like a clear mascara. It just lifts and positions.”
Richie loves this iconic drugstore bronzer. “This is one of my secret faves,” she says. She swipes it along the perimeter of her face.
“For some reason, I don’t love lipstick on me,” Richie says. “I love a liner and a gloss.”
She filmed her next GRWM video on day one of her wedding festivities. Her goal was a “light, soft, gentle makeup moment.” She uses many of the makeup products I already mentioned, but she also introduces a few new ones, including a lip balm that she’s “clinically obsessed with.”
“I just want to keep it really natural,” Richie says. She uses this neutral lip liner to line and shape her lips.
Next, she applies this lip balm, which she says she’s “clinically obsessed with right now.” She uses the Pink Sugar version and says, “This flavor is heaven.”
Richie shared her next GRWM video while on her honeymoon. She says she’s in a “tropical location,” so she keeps her makeup fairly light and minimal. Again, she uses some of the aforementioned makeup products, but scroll to see what products she introduced.
First up, she uses this iconic concealer which has extra SPF in it. “The sun doesn’t set here until really late, so I’m trying to catch that golden hour without looking cakey,” she says.
She sings the praises of this drugstore mascara. “I’m horrible with mascara,” she says. “Mascara will just run down my face all night, and I won’t notice. My friends call me raccoon eyes […] If I wear mascara, I’ll only use this.”
Next, it looks like she reaches for this eye shadow palette from Chanel, which has four neutral shadows.
By now, we know Richie doesn’t skip lip liner. This time, she uses yet another iconic shade from MAC.
The final step in this look is lip gloss. “I was sent this, and I’m obsessed,” she says. “It’s so yummy and a perfect gloss with just a liner.”
In this video, Richie’s husband, Elliot Grainge, does the voiceover. She uses her stand-by products but also introduces a high-end powder blush and a hydrating tinted lip balm.
This is the high-end powder blush in question. To be honest, I’m not 100% confident this is the shade she uses, but it’s my best bet (and I only had to watch the video 10 different times to land on this guess).
Another quick-moving makeup product, I think this one is the iconic Clinique Chubby Stick, which is a hydrating tinted lip balm. It looks like Richie uses the shade Whole Lotta Honey, which is a warm, sheer beige.
Richie filmed the next video before going to a Mother’s Day brunch. She introduces a few new makeup products, including an iconic Chanel bronzer.
Yup, this is the one. This creamy bronzer warms the skin and defines bone structure without looking cakey or unnatural. We love that Richie is a fan too.
In a later video (more on that in a minute), Richie says makeup artist Pati Dubroff introduced her to this shade of the Nudestix blush. “I’m obsessed with Picante,” she says. “I never would have thought to use an orange-y tone like that.”
She combines the Picante shade with this pink one for a bespoke blush look.
This time, she does fill in her brows. She uses the ultra-precise pencil we all know and love—Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz.
For a little extra glow, Richie uses this gorgeous shimmery palette from Hourglass.
Since Richie is a fan of subtle lip color, it makes sense she’d like this glossy lip balm in this pale pink shade.
To reduce shine in her T-zone and set the area under her eyes, she swipes some of this lightweight pressed powder across her skin.
The next video is in partnership with Glossier, but don’t brush it off as just another sponsored post. In this one, Richie shares her fave products, including a subtle yet lengthening mascara and the ever-iconic Boy Brow. I must say, her product recommendations are gold.
She uses this unique oil-serum hybrid as a glow-boosting primer and a targeted highlighter.
Next up is the brand’s mascara. “That is giving me a lift that I love,” she says.
To shape, define, and fluff up her brows, Richie uses the brand’s iconic Boy Brow. I’ve used this gel-pomade hybrid for years, and it’s still one of my favorite brow products.
The final step is this high-shine lipstick in the rosy shade Villa. This lipstick feels more like a tinted lip balm because it’s so comfortable to wear.
The final video is Richie trying to re-create her wedding makeup, which was done by celebrity makeup artist Pati Dubroff (whose clients include other A-listers like Margot Robbie). There are two parts, and I’ve added all the newly revealed makeup products below.
Even though this is a skincare product, she uses it as a primer, so I’m including it. “I saw Pati use it, and it was a base, and it was beautiful,” she says.
Then, she uses this absolutely gorgeous eyeshadow palette that’s full of rich gold and brown colors. “It’s not too pigmented. It’s a sheer little shimmer,” she says. “It’s just really pretty and sublte.”
Richie calls this her “signature lip” product. “Pati introduced me to this lip color, and it is my new saving grace,” says Richie Grainge. “I literally went to the Chanel store two days after my wedding and bought as many as I could find.”
The final step was to set the makeup with a lightweight and radiant powder (no one wants cakey makeup on their wedding day). She reaches for the classic Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder.
