FDI inflows into Cambodia surged to $8.1 billion between September 2024 and the same month last year.
The primary FDI sources were China, South Korea, Singapore, Japan, Vietnam, Malaysia, Thailand, Canada and the UK.
The main sectors are financial activities, manufacturing, real estate, agriculture and energy.
The banking, microfinance and insurance sectors also saw rapid FDI expansion.
