France’s National Assembly has adopted a bill aimed at preventing the production, import or sale from January 2026 of any product for which an alternative to PFAS already exists.
These include cosmetics, ski wax and textile items.
The ban will extend in 2030 to all textile products, except essential products and for which there is no alternative and certain technical textiles for industrial use.
