French inflation rose to 1.3 per cent year-on-year in November 2024, up from 1.2 per cent in October, driven by a slower decline in energy prices (-0.7 per cent) despite moderating food inflation (+0.2 per cent), as per INSEE data.
Month-on-month, CPI fell 0.1 per cent due to seasonal airfare drops (-11.4 per cent), while energy prices rose slightly (+0.2 per cent).
