BASF has developed Ultramid Advanced N3U41 G6, a polyphthalamide (PPA) designed for housing IGBT semiconductors in power electronics.
Used by Semikron Danfoss in its Semitrans 10 IGBT, the PPA offers chemical resistance, thermal stability, and electrical insulation, enhancing energy efficiency in electric vehicles, renewable energy, and more.
