Germany’s inflation eased to 1.9 per cent YoY in February 2026, down from 2.1 per cent in January, according to Destatis.
The HICP rose 2 per cent annually and 0.4 per cent monthly.
Energy prices fell 1.9 per cent YoY, helping moderate inflation, while core inflation remained at 2.5 per cent.
Goods prices increased 0.8 per cent YoY, and the consumer price index rose 0.2 per cent MoM.
