Germany’s inflation rate, measured as the YoY change in the consumer price index, was 2 per cent in October after September’s 1.6 per cent and August’s 1.9 per cent.
Compared with September, consumer prices rose by 0.4 per cent in October.
Excluding energy prices, the rate was 3 per cent in October.
Core inflation, excluding food and energy, was somewhat lower in October at 2.9 per cent.
