The style began picking up speed roughly two years ago when Ferrari released its debut clothing collection and pumped a little bit of Formula 1 into high fashion. Balmain, Dior, Diesel and Louis Vuitton Menswear quickly followed and soon after, circuit-centric attire began infiltrating street style trends with high collars, bright hues and leather accoutrements.

Achieving the aesthetic is quite simple. A cool pair of shades is the safest entry point, while a good racer jacket (new or vintage) completes any look with minimal effort. And for a little extra va-va-vroom, opt for a checkerboard print or some stripes.
