​Avian influenza, commonly known as bird flu, is a viral infection that primarily affects birds. Among the various subtypes, the H9N2 avian influenza virus has gained attention due to its ability to infect a wide range of bird species and occasional transmission to humans. Currently, the widespread of clusters of respiratory illness in children in northern China, has drawn more attention to H9N2 influenza virus. It is important to know the causes, symptoms, and preventive measures associated with H9N2.​
