If there’s one thing you should know about me, it’s that whenever I’m anywhere near a Zara location, I’m going to walk into it and try on at least a dozen items. I’ve been this way forever—ever since Zara opened a store at my local mall in the Chicago suburbs—and will probably always be this way. Call it a guilty pleasure. So, when I walked by the Bryant Park store last night after work, I naturally had to pop inside and see what was new. And it’s a good thing I did, because in all my years of shopping at Zara, only on a handful of occasions have my try ons been this successful.

Within minutes of stepping inside the store’s revolving doors, I had at least three items in my hand, all of which happened to be dresses. One loop around the main floor later, four more had been added to the pile. By the time I made it downstairs to the dressing rooms, I had accumulated more summer dresses than the amount of items allowed to come in at one time. Suddenly, it’d been two hours and I’d tried on at least 15 dresses, six of which rendered me speechless. I won’t be able to sleep until I make it back to Zara to buy this dress. The draping is beyond gorgeous and the fit feels like that of a designer gown.

This dress is the epitome of summertime elegance. The fit, the length, the neckline—everything about it is utterly perfect.

I’m not usually a minidress person but this one is cute enough to convince me otherwise. The bows on the side and asymmetric neckline put it over the edge.

This dress deserves an award for the price-to-quality ratio. Yes, it’s that good.

I never thought I’d want to wear a dress with an attached cape until I saw and subsequently tried on this bright-orange, body-con midi.

To say this dress is beautiful would be the understatement of the year.

*Orders immediately.*

This dress is giving serious Khaite vibes.

To be worn with or without pants.

Now all you have to do is book an Italian vacation.

Swoon.

Simply perfect.

The low back on this dress takes it up about a dozen levels.

It’s a need not a want.

Your new everyday summer dress—found.

This is not your average LBD.

A slip dress will never be a bad idea.

If you told me this dress was $700 instead of $70, I wouldn’t argue.

The ’90s called.

If it’s red, I want it—period.

This is the kind of dress you can wear summer after summer. It’ll never go out of style.

This shade of green just screams luxury.

I want to be the kind of person who can wear this dress casually to a late lunch on the Upper East Side.

Who wants to go in on a boat trip in the South of France? I need an excuse to buy this dress.

Love.

To be worn with sneakers, flat sandals, and more.

If you have a formal occasion on the cards this summer, this is the dress you should be wearing to it.

The sheer trend has never looked better.
