Lash serums can definitely be tricky. Believe me, I spent a lot of my time and energy trying different ones until I found a few that really work. Although it took me a while, I now have a solid handful of serums that really help out my normally short, sparse lashes. One of them also just happens to be a favorite of Sydney Sweeney’s. She revealed once in an interview that after using RapidLash’s Eyelash Enhancing Serum ($50), her eyelashes “started growing like crazy.” Even she isn’t immune to TikTok—she started using it after discovering a review of the serum there and hasn’t stopped using it since.

Naturally, I knew I had to try this one out for myself to see if it’s worthy of adding to my rotation. If you’re curious about my thoughts on this one, keep scrolling. I’m sharing all the details below.

Before trying this lash serum out, I was using GrandeLash’s Lash Enhancing Serum. It definitely worked well for me, but I felt like my results started to plateau after four or so months. I only had enough time to try out RapidLash for three and a half weeks before writing this, but I’m definitely impressed with the results so far. It’s always a bit hard to tell if a lash serum is working those first few weeks because your natural lashes don’t look dramatically longer yet, but you can more easily see some length has been added when you put on mascara.

I actually noticed that my lashes were already a bit longer after one week of using this. I’d say that’s pretty impressive! What I really love about this formula is that it contains growth factors, biotin, and peptides which help strengthen and promote healthy growth. I also like that it doesn’t include prostaglandins, which aren’t necessarily considered unsafe, but they can cause some interesting side effects like eye irritation, skin discoloration, and even an eye color change. So many lash serums on the market use them (the main one being Latisse) so it’s just something to look out for if you have sensitive skin or eyes.

Anyway, I have to say, this lash serum gets my approval 100%. Although I haven’t been using it long enough to share any dramatic before and after photos, I’ve definitely seen noticeable growth in just a few weeks which is impressive. It also doesn’t irritate my eye area which can be really sensitive. The price tag is a bit high at $50, but it’s actually still cheaper than a lot of other formulas on the market and you can get it without a prescription (unlike Latisse). If your lashes could use a bit of extra help, I say give this one a go. I don’t think you’ll regret it.

Olaplex’s lash serum is another new favorite of mine. I tried this one out recently as well and loved the results. If I had to pick my top two lash serums at the moment, it would be this one and RapidLash for sure!

GrandeLash has gained a cult following over the years (especially amongst WWW staffers) because it really works. Like I mentioned above, I did notice that my results started to plateau after a certain amount of time, though, so maybe it’s good to switch up your formula once in a while.

Latisse is *the* OG lash serum. It’s one of the most effective because it contains prostaglandins, which work by extending the growth phase of the hair follicle. I have several friends who use it and completely swear by it (they have the best lashes of out anyone I know), but it’s only available via prescription which can be a bit of a pain.

As far as budget options go, this lash serum from Amazon has a 4.8/5-star rating and is super gentle on the eye area.

Containing hydrating ingredients like glycerin and sodium hyaluronate, this lash serum creates an optimal environment for stronger, healthier lashes. It also contains growth-boosting peptides and arginine to reduce moisture loss.

Although this is a spendy option, it definitely works well. Phyto peptides and vitamin B5 help support rapid and visible growth.

Affordable skincare brand Typology offers this eyelash- and brow-enhancing formula with peptides and castor oil.

These serums for the brow and lash growth help reduce shedding while supporting the body’s ability to anchor the lash and brow follicle to the root system. It helps hair grow stronger, thicker, and longer in the long term and the reviews speak for themselves.
