Something you may or may not know about me is that I take my basics, especially my T-shirts, very seriously. After all, I choose them 99% of the time when I get dressed, so for me to add one to my collection means it must be worth it. Not only that, but my reputation is also on the line, so if I’m about to recommend something, it better be good.

That’s why I knew I had to put our Who What Wear Collection T-shirt/bodysuit to the test when it launched recently. Firstly, how would I feel about this whole bodysuit thing? Secondly, how would it fit, feel, and look? Luckily, I got all these answers and more—and so did a few of my equally curious colleagues. To hear what we all had to say, to see our bodysuits in action, and to shop them and more pieces from our fall line, just keep scrolling.

Size: Small. My Review: “I’m not a bodysuit girl, but this one is kind of making me rethink everything. The tuck is perfect and just looks so much more polished than a regular tee. Now that I own this bodysuit, I think of it as the perfect basic that’s a must for a well-rounded wardrobe. What was I doing before? Unclear! In all seriousness though, it’s simple but kind of perfect in its simplicity. The little rib around the neckline is an element I love, and it’s not too thin or see-through.”

Styling Notes: “I channeled this Kendall Jenner look and styled the bodysuit with a pair of The Frankie Shop trousers, a vintage belt, and an oversize cotton button-down from Aritzia. Khaki trousers that skyrocketed into popularity earlier this year still feel super relevant to me, and I’m into the fashion-meets-normcore vibe.”

Size: Medium. My Review: I couldn’t decide between black and white for the bodysuit, so I had the pleasure of testing out both. As someone who lives in T-shirts (no really, they’re 99% of my top collection), I was so pleasantly surprised. Firstly, not having to deal with constantly re-tucking it in is a real treat. Also, the cut and material are just what I like in a tee: 100% cotton, boxy, and with a minimal, ribbed neckline that blends right in. Lastly, it weirdly doesn’t wrinkle, and while I don’t understand the witchcraft behind it, I’m not complaining.

Styling Notes: With the white bodysuit, I went for my usual combo of jeans and a cardigan, so unsurprisingly, it was perfect for my usual tee. For the black one, I wanted to test it out in a dressier way, so I paired it with black, silky trousers and heeled boots. Since it’s more polished than a basic tee, it worked perfectly for that relaxed-but-put-together approach.

Size: Small. My Review: “Surprise, surprise—this is my first bodysuit, and I’m honestly wondering why I haven’t tried one before. The tuck on this one is just right, not overly bulky but not overly fitted. It’s perfect for layering (which I do a lot), as it doesn’t involve too much fabric. I love the size small for a more fitted look, but I can definitely see myself going up a size if I want something looser and oversize.”

Styling Notes: “I paired this bodysuit with a Sleeper top, a patterned slip skirt, and sneakers to incorporate my personal comfy style. I always have issues styling T-shirts with slip skirts because the fabric is so thin that tops end up being too thick or bulky to tuck in, but that’s where the bodysuit comes into play perfectly. It tucked right in effortlessly and looked so much polished than it would with a regular top. I think I’ve found my layering weapon!”

Size: Medium. My Review: “I basically live and die by white T-shirts. I think they’re the most important basic in my closet. I often find that I wish they would tuck into my clothes better, so this bodysuit is the perfect solution. It basically looks like you have a perfectly tucked-in white T-shirt at all times. I normally don’t go for bodysuits because I think they can be uncomfortable, but this one is comfortable and snaps easily.”

Styling Notes: “Here, I’m wearing the bodysuit with Lafayette 148 trousers (mine are brown, but this is the same style), white Vejas and a shoulder bag. I think this bodysuit will look amazing with a blazer and jeans, which is my go-to when I want to look polished but laid-back.”

Velvet weather is upon us.

If you think this is good, wait until you see the full look.

Proof that the matching skirt is a must.

The essential slip dress, made better.

I can never have enough white tops.

Our whole team is swooning over these.

One of my personal favorite sweaters from our line.

Such a good color.

You can take this polished look where no sweatsuit has gone before.

Keyholes are having a major comeback.

You can’t go wrong with this classic skirt style.

Wear this anywhere, from the office to holiday parties.

The color is truly something special.

I’m a sucker for anything in this shade of green.

If you don’t own black leather pants yet, these are for you.

The delicate ties on this are perfect.

If this isn’t the perfect casual look for the holidays, I don’t know what is.

I wouldn’t skip on the tank if I were you.

And the pants fit just right.

You’ll get so much use out of this little cardigan.

I have this and cannot stop wearing it.

The skirt is also particularly versatile.
