As a New Yorker, footwear is a major wardrobe priority. And as a fashion editor, footwear is also a major wardrobe priority. Since storage is quite limited in my Manhattan shoebox apartment, my shoe shelves are also a part of my room décor. I’m constantly combing social media and online retailers for the newest styles to add to my installation. All of this is to say I love shoes.
Since I have to commute in the city every day, I have a very low tolerance for any shoe style that doesn’t guarantee comfort and versatility. I opt for thicker heels, ballet flats, chunky loafers, kitten heels, and any to all sneakers. A slight platform is a major plus.
In the name of making use of my incessant shoe-shopping habits, I’m sharing the prettiest styles I’m seeing right now. Shop on my behalf below.
