Since 2018, she’s been collaborating with Uniqlo on collections that draw on specific moments in French history, inspiring designs that feel timeless and modern despite referencing past eras. “The 70s were a very creative and happy moment for fashion. I have noticed that young people nowadays have nostalgia for this decade,” de la Freessange says of the era that fueled this new collection.
