I’m going to be honest: I’ve put a pause on most of my spending recently. I’m trying to save as much money as possible right now, so when it comes to clothes and beauty products, I’ve been pretty frugal. I am, however, never one to pass up a sale—particularly if it means that I can snag some of the more expensive products I love at a more affordable price point. It’s currently Nordstrom’s Half Yearly Sale, which means that there’s never been a better time to peruse the sale section. I scoured all of the on-sale beauty products that I think are worth spending money on—budget and all. Keep reading for my favorite picks.

The secret to inviting people over and having them asking what smells so damn good? Boy Smells candles. This one has notes like cannabis, tulip, lilac, purple cassis, white musk, amber, and suede—the bright, herbacious notes blend with more floral top notes to create a smell that instantly sets the mood.

This highly rated eyeliner is an established cult favorite. “Over the years, as I’ve aged, I’ve tried many other higher-end liners (YSL, Laura Mercier, Dior, and Chanel), but I always end up coming back to Clinique Quickliner,” said one reviewer. “The first time I purchased this eyeliner was over 15 years ago, and I remember thinking how much I liked the way it smoothed on without me having to tug or pull on my lid. It’s still the same.”

Red lipsticks are notoriously tough to shop for. This one, however, has warm, brick-leaning undertones that flatter every skin tone. It’s highly pigmented, but still feels moisturizing, ensuring lips never feel dry or flaky.

This pink lipstick is a dusty rose, making it the perfect pink for any and every occasion. The formula is matte, non-drying, and long-wearing—plus, the packaging is as chic as it gets.

The Hungarian skincare brand Omorovicza is one of my absolute favorites. Each product mimics the experience of going to the baths in Budapest thanks to the brand’s patented healing concentrate, which is in every product. It’s one of those luxe skincare lines that makes you feel like you’re pampering yourself with every use—and being able to try four products for less than the price that one will typically run you is a major steal.

There’s pretty much nothing this foundation can’t do. Like a serum, it’s packed with vitamin C, salicylic acid, and hyaluronic acid, but it has all the benefits of a full-coverage foundation that makes your skin look smooth and even. It also has SPF 25, so it helps protect your skin, too.

Gift this set of Boy Smells’ bestsellers, or keep them all for yourself and make every room in your living space smell absolutely enchanting.

I just found your go-to summer eyeshadow. This bronze-gold shadow goes on like butter and never comes with any fallout.

Consider this at-home oxygen facial an in-office treatment in a bottle. It uses oxygen and hyaluronic acid to plump skin and fight dehydration.

It couldn’t get easier to swipe on eyeshadow than by using this stick formula. It delivers a dreamy wash of ultra-flattering color that stays in place all day and doesn’t crease.

Bobbi Brown’s Pot Rouge is an iconic product for a reason. It’s incredibly versatile and perfect for both lips and cheeks. It’s blendable, buildable, and incredibly easy to use.

Summer skin, coming right up. This buttery bronzer has a hint of shimmer that delivers a gorgeous, sun-kissed glow to skin in seconds.

Mac’s Macstack mascara became an instant bestseller thanks to its clump-resistant, lengthening, and volumizing formula. In the mascara realm, it’s hard to beat. Not only do you get the same incredible formula, but this version is also pretty cute.

Exfolikate is one of Somerville’s most well-known products for a reason. It uses three different types of acid to leave skin baby-smooth and radiant.

This lipstick doesn’t just impart color—it’s also infused with a balm to hydrate lips at the same time.
