An Indian cabinet committee has approved eight projects of the railways ministry with a total estimated cost of $2.94 billion.
The projects cover 14 districts in seven states, and will expand the railway network by 900 kms.
These will reduce logistics costs and improve logistics efficiency by connecting unconnected areas and enhancing transportation networks.
