India and Israel have signed a bilateral investment treaty to promote investments between the two sides, the former’s finance ministry said.
The treaty assures appropriate protection to Israeli investors in India and vice versa and offers protection to investments from expropriation, transparency, transfers and compensation for losses.
Both countries are also negotiating a free trade agreement.
