India-Sri Lanka FTA has facilitated economic cooperation, particularly in the garment sector.
However, Sri Lanka struggles to fully leverage the Indian market, hindered by a quota limiting garment exports to eight million pieces, which it hasn’t met in recent years.
Expanding the FTA to include more goods and services could benefit both countries.
