India is set to maintain its status as the fastest-growing large economy, with its economy projected to grow at 6.7 per cent in both 2025 and 2026, significantly outpacing global and regional peers, the World Bank’s Global Economic Prospects said.
The global economy is projected to expand by 2.7 per cent in these years, the same pace as in 2024, as inflation and interest rates decline gradually.
