The Indian Cabinet has approved extending the One-time Special Package for Di-Ammonium Phosphate (DAP) beyond the NBS subsidy at ₹3,500 ($42) per MT from January 1, 2025, with an estimated cost of ₹3,850 crore ($46.2 million).
This follows a previous approval in July 2024, bringing the total package to ₹6,475 crore (~$77.4 million), ensuring affordable DAP for farmers.
