The US is India’s top export destination, accounting for 28 per cent of its global trade.
However, India’s textile and apparel exporters are grappling with a 50 per cent additional tariff, severely impacting competitiveness, according to a CITI survey.
Covering 69 per cent MSMEs and 31 per cent large firms, the survey found 91 per cent export to the US.
