India’s Gujarat state has introduced its Textile Policy 2024, which offers capital subsidies, credit-linked interest subsidies, payroll assistance and fiscal subsidy provisions for labour-intensive units.
The policy focuses on garments, made-ups and other technical textiles, and also on reducing carbon footprint and promoting green growth.
A power tariff subsidy will be offered at ₹1/kWh.
