India’s plastics exports rose 8 per cent YoY to $12.47 billion in FY25, outpacing the 0.1 per cent rise in overall merchandise exports.
March 2025 exports hit $1.16 billion, led by strong demand for FIBCs, pipes, films, and medical plastics.
Key gains included FIBCs (13.1 per cent), pipes (17.4 per cent), and PP articles (13.8 per cent), while raw materials and floor coverings saw declines.
