India’s Telangana state recently issued an order to set up a yarn depot at Vemulawada of Rajanna Sircilla district for the power loom sector.
The Telangana State Handloom Weavers Cooperative Society Ltd. will be the nodal and implementing agency.
A corpus fund of $5.95 million will be sanctioned to run the depot so that weavers can procure yarn from there required buffer stocks can be maintained.
