India’s textiles and apparel exports rose 3.80 per cent to $14.7 billion between April and August 2024.
Textiles grew by 1.39 per cent and apparel by 7.12 per cent during this period.
Cotton yarn, fabrics, and made-ups saw marginal growth, while man-made yarn and carpets surged.
In August 2024, apparel exports rose by 11.88 per cent, but textile exports fell 4.01 per cent.
