In July, industrial production declined by 0.3 per cent in the euro area and 0.1 per cent in the EU from June.
Compared to July 2023, the euro area saw a 2.2 per cent drop, while the EU fell by 1.7 per cent.
Intermediate goods and durable consumer goods saw declines, while energy and non-durable goods grew.
The largest decreases were in Malta and Estonia.
