Italy’s seasonally-adjusted exports rose by 0.6 per cent month on month (MoM) and 2.5 per cent YoY in January, while such imports rose by 3.2 per cent MoM and 8.8 per cent YoY.
Import prices rose by 0.4 per cent MoM and by 1.4 per cent YoY in January.
The country’s trade deficit was €264 million in the month.
Over the last quarter, both exports and imports rose by 2.2 per cent quarter on quarter.
