UK retail sales volume rose by an estimated 1.7 per cent month on month (MoM) in January following a 0.6-per cent MoM fall in December.
It fell by 0.6 per cent quarter on quarter (QoQ) in the three months to January, but rose by 1.4 per cent YoY.
The amount spent online fell by 1.7 per cent MoM in January.
It fell by 4.8 per cent QoQ and rose by 0.8 per cent YoY in the three months to January.
