Japanese firm Descente’s sales at $189.6 mn in Q1 FY24

Descente reported a 1.2 per cent YoY increase in Q1 FY24 net sales to 27.482 billion yen (~$189.6 million), driven by strong sales in South Korea.
Gross profit rose 3.6 per cent YoY to 17.11 billion yen, with a margin of 62.3 per cent.
However, operating income fell 65 per cent YoY to 683 million yen.
Net income dropped 14.2 per cent to 2.739 billion yen.
