Asahi Kasei and Italy’s Aquafil have signed an MOU to develop a new 3D printing material combining Aquafil’s recycled Econyl Polymer and Asahi Kasei’s cellulose nanofibre (CNF).
This compound offers superior formability and strength, ideal for automotive and aeronautical applications.
Trial sales are set for the third quarter of 2025 in the EU, US, and Japan.
