Established in 2018, the Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay NIF Book Prize is an annual award which is given to the best work of non-fictionwriting about Independent India’s history. From a longlist of 10 books, a shortlist of five books for Kamaladevi Chattopadhyay NIF Book Prize 2023 were announced on November 20.
