LanzaTech and SEKISUI CHEMICAL have signed an agreement to deploy a commercial platform converting municipal and industrial waste into ethanol in Japan.
The platform, developed over a decade, produces ethanol for sustainable aviation fuel and other uses.
SEKISUI’s first facility aims to produce 10-12 kilotons annually, reducing waste and fossil fuel reliance.
