Lesotho will continue talks to further reduce tariffs on its exports to the US after the latter revised its 50-per cent tariff on all exports from the former down to 15 per cent from August 7.
“While we had negotiated the revision to at least 10 per cent,….. this rate [15 per cent] will ease the burden to our exporters, particularly the textile and apparel industry,” Trade Minister Mokhethi Shelile said.
