Lygos and CJ BIO have signed an MOU to build a biorefinery complex in Fort Dodge, Iowa, to produce sustainable chemicals.
The facility will manufacture up to 40,000 MT/yr of Lygos’ biodegradable polymers and biobased malonates, with future expansion plans.
The partnership aims to scale high-performance, sustainable products and support a circular economy.
