But D’Spain’s journey to success goes beyond her social media presence.

In fact, as the first Black transgender model to collaborate with Victoria’s Secret, she is breaking down barriers and paving the way for greater inclusivity in the fashion industry. She’s also appeared on the covers of Galore and TMRW magazines and has partnered with renowned brands such as NARS, Google, and Anastasia Beverly Hills. Her expertise and unique perspective have earned her the title of Byrdie’s Influencer of the Year, cementing her status as a trusted voice in the beauty community. By openly sharing her experiences as a transgender woman, she has become an inspiration, role model, and advocate for many. 


Before becoming a prominent figure in the beauty industry, D’Spain started as an intern at Paper Magazine. She climbed the ranks to become the publication’s beauty director. During her time at Paper,
D’Spain launched the Snapchat show Snatchural, which helped her find her voice as a creator and solidify her passion for beauty and self-expression.
