Mexico’s home textile imports rose 8.9 per cent year-on-year to $608.76 million in January–May 2025.
Imports from China surged 25.04 per cent, while shipments from the US declined 6.09 per cent.
China and the US together supplied over 75 per cent of total imports.
Post-COVID, Mexico’s textile imports have shown recovery but remain below 2020’s peak of $3.11 billion, according to TexPro.
