Mitsubishi Corporation and ExxonMobil signed an agreement for Mitsubishi’s participation in ExxonMobil’s Baytown, Texas facility, set to produce carbon-free hydrogen and low-carbon ammonia.
Expected to start by 2029, the project aims to supply Japan’s industries.
Mitsubishi plans to trans ship ammonia via its LPG terminal, with a final decision due in 2025.
