My aunt has always been one of my biggest style inspirations form day one. She’s always worked in fashion and has such a knack for styling that everyone in our family turns to her for advice on what to buy and how to wear it. So yes, the “cool aunt” stereotype definitely applies here and now, she’s heading up a beloved local boutique called Knuth’s where everyone else can benefit from impeccable taste, too.

There’s really no question that she was one of the first people to pique my interest in pursuing a fashion career and now that we both do, I’m constantly texting her about everything from the shoes I’m buying and the coolest trends to know to the brands we’re both into. What can I say? Shopping is my love language and right now, these 29 Nordstrom finds are speaking it fluently. I love these finds and guarantee they’ll be up to my aunt’s high standard, too, so instead of keeping them to myself, I’m dishing on all the coolest finds that I ran to text her about.

These are a great stepping stone if you’re looking to venture away from skinny jeans without diving headfirst into baggier fits.

Hello, date night.

There’s something so sophisticated about a tweed jacket like this, especially styled casually with jeans like in Elsa Hosk’s outfit above.

I like investments that are an exciting riff on wardrobe classics, and these Khaite wedge sandals definitely fit the bill.

You’d have to physically show me the receipt to convince me that this bag was under $50 because, wow, she’s a stunner.

I just know this brushed texture would be so soft to the touch.

This print!

Big bangles were a strong theme on the spring 2023 runways, and I love the idea of wearing one over a tight long sleeve.

Tissue-thin fabric like this rarely comes around at an affordable price point but it always manages to make such a simple item like a turtleneck appear so luxe.

Boxy oversized blazers may have been huge over the past few years, but nipped-in styles like this are starting to gain traction and I think they looks ultra-chic and polished.

I’d suggest wearing the above blazer with these leggings and a pair of point-toe heels.

Everyone on our editorial team can’t stop talking about how incredible this belt is.

The ways to style this cool basic are virtually limitless.

The kind of retro sneakers that aren’t so trendy they’ll feel dated in a year.

It’s always a yes to maxi hemlines.

The shoe trend of the moment.

Everyone who tries on this ’90s-inspired top on my TikTok feed looks so good.

If you ask me, these are hands down the best trousers. From the high waist to the just-relaxed-enough fit and the puddle hem, the search for perfect trousers ends here.

Cue the compliments.

Did I just die and go to heaven? As my aunt would say, this leather pleated clutch is divine.

How to make jeans look cool 101.

Leather pants suddenly feel fresh in this cream hue.

This layered look adds such a cool dimension to even simple outfits.

The shape and placement of this hardware makes it look like a designer find.

No more boring outfits when this pretty maxi is in your closet.

Black pantsuits can quickly veer into corporate territory, but since my aunt is also a fashion girl, I pulled this marled set instead.

To wear with the above blazer to work or casually with a white tee.

Because no closet can ever have enough.

Cardigans are an ideal piece for transitioning from winter into spring.

Speaking of Nordstrom, I just found a trove of the basics French girls will never toss there.
