I may be a tad biased here, but my co-workers are seriously some of the most stylish people I know. Even though it’s been months since I’ve seen any of them IRL (I’m only a little sad about it, can you tell?), my fellow editors never fail to leave me inspired with a new styling idea or outfit recipe every time I catch a glimpse of what they’re wearing, and this time is no exception. Like I’ve done before, I prompted WWW’s editorial team to test-drive some of the latest pieces from our very own Who What Wear collection. True to form, their elevated outfit ideas are making these affordable buys look far more expensive than. they really are.

As a refresher, our line of clothing drops new pieces each month, with everything being surprisingly affordable (I’m talking under $50 affordable) and offered in a range of sizes from XS to 4X. After test-driving some of the line’s latest pieces from the new June collection, I can confirm that they’re pretty enough to break me out of my loungewear rut while being comfortable enough to actually work from home in (think billowy cotton dresses and pretty printed pieces).

“This print is so good! It’s equal parts joyful and easy to wear since you can pair any color accessories with it. To prove that point I mixed brown sandals with a black rhinestone belt, and somehow it works (at least in my opinion, don’t @ me). This dress has a seam connecting the top part of the dress to the skirt, so there’s a great spot to add a belt. There’s also a great tie detail in the back that adds a bit of interest while still being bra-friendly.”

“My love for pleated shorts this summer seriously knows no bounds. Since these paper-bag shorts are on the voluminous side, I paired them with a slim top, which looks pretty chic, if I do say so myself. I don’t wear many dresses and skirts so when I want to be a little more dressed up when it’s hot out, I’ll definitely reach for these shorts. Bonus: They’re extremely comfortable.”

“I don’t know who needs to hear this, but twirling around in a smocked maxi dress is an instant mood lifter. To keep it all the way one hundred, I was a little intimidated by the print at first. Don’t get me wrong—I do love a good print—but a pattern plus various colors outside my wheelhouse is typically where I draw the line. The second I slipped into this cotton number, though, my concerns immediately dissipated. It feels as comfortable as a house dress, but the ruffled neckline dresses it up for any occasion. I can’t wait to take it out for a walk around the bock soon!”

“This easy, breezy dress is so much fun––I love the bold blue and the eye-catching pattern. If we weren’t all staying at home and practicing safe social distancing guidelines, I could picture myself wearing this to backyard barbecues, meeting friends out for a cocktail, and even to the office. For now, I’ll settle for wearing it during socially-distanced park hangouts with friends. I paired this with flat sandals, but this piece is pretty versatile enough to wear with bright white sneakers or heels. It’s supposed to be a midi, but it’s veering more towards a maxi on my 5’3″ frame, but I’m not complaining (for reference, I’m wearing a size small). And an extra bonus: Pockets!”

Just when I was starting to get bored with my closet, this pretty smocked skirt walked itself into my life. As someone who maybe overinvested in basics lately, this outfit-making piece couldn’t have come at a better time because it’s the perfect base to all my basic tops and pairs so well with sandals. The print has black and white mixed in which makes it easy to style with plain tees and tanks and the smocked waistline, while trendy, is also super comfortable—a genius addition to my summer wardrobe.

“For summer, all I want to wear are long, flowy dresses. This pretty linen version is a piece I’ll be wearing all season, styled with a simple pair of strappy sandals.”

“I have a weakness for floral dresses and this bright and bold one is unquestionably putting me in the summertime spirit. I love the smocking detail, ruffle neckline, and tie-straps, but the cherry on the top is the fact it has pockets—always a detail that wins me over! Pair it with chunky sandals and hoop earrings for a standout summer look.”

“I love how versatile this top is. It’s been a bit chillier in LA than normal, so I paired it with jeans and sandals, but I can’t wait to wear it with shorts and skirts once the weather heats up. It’s lightweight, and I’m obsessed with the added details like the ruffle at the bottom and the bow-ties on each strap—sweet but not fussy at all.”
