Netherlands’ consumer inflation eased to 2.4 per cent year on year in January 2026 from 2.8 per cent in December 2025, while prices fell 0.7 per cent month on month, according to Statistics Netherlands.
Clothing and footwear prices declined 0.5 per cent annually, reversing the increase recorded in December.
The HICP measure slowed to 2.2 per cent, while euro area inflation fell to 1.7 per cent.
